| What
is Aviation Nation? Aviation Nation, the Nellis
Air Force Base - Las Vegas Air Show, is a two-day
event at Nellis Air Force Base and one of the
most diverse air shows in America. It is also one
of the largest public events in Nevada.
This year,
Aviation Nation salutes Air & Space power by hosting the
capstone event of the U.S. Air Forces 60th Anniversary Heritage
to Horizons celebration. Several military air demonstration
teams, warbirds, and some of the nation's top civilian air
performers will participate.
Aviation Nation
will also celebrate the history of American
aviation and salute the recent accomplishments of
Americas military in operations around the
globe through numerous additional military and
civilian air demonstrations and ground displays.
More than 100 military and civilian aircraft are
expected to be on display.

$3 Donation
for round-trip bus transportation between parking
lots and Air Show
Commercial buses will transport Air Show visitors
from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to Nellis Air
Force Base. There will be a nominal $3 donation
per person (ages 10 years old and above) and $1
per child (under age 10) requested for this round
trip bus transportation. (Babies/toddlers not
requiring a bus seat are free). This donation is
made to the Aviation Nation Foundation, a 501 (c)
(3) non-profit private organization chartered to
support the air show. The fees make it possible
to provide the transportation to/from the event
and 100% of the proceeds are used to offset the
high cost of this commercial transportation
system.
Public
Transportation Via the CAT Bus From Downtown Las
Vegas
The Regional Transportation Commission provides a
special Citizens Area Transit (CAT) bus route run
